Welcome to Samsø Classic. The tournament is one of the longest running in Denmark and is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2012. The prizefund is 33.000 Euro + a 10.000 Dkk shoot-out prize.

Special format:

Samsø Classic will be played as 54 holes strokeplay as usual, but it will also include a team Pro-Am.
The Pro/Am will be played alongside the two first rounds of the professional event.
All 72 participating players will be paired with one of the 36 participating teams and will play either the first or the second round with this team.
The two first rounds will be played with two shotguns at 08.00 and 13:30
All teams and players are divided in two groups of 36 professionals and 18 teams
Each group will play as follows:

18 players will play with a pro/am team
18 players will play in 3-balls with two other professionals
In the second round the professionals will swap place

After the second round there will be cut to 45 professionals + ties

Breakdown	33.000 Euro / 250.000 Dkr.
Special Event on Tuesday June 5th	A shoot out with a prizefund of 10.000 Dkr. for the winner will take place on hole number 9. Players must be present on the 18th tee at 16:00 to participate. No sign up needed.
Format	Strokeplay 54 holes. A team Pro/Am will be played as a part of the tournament. Each player will play one Pro/Am round on either first or second round.
Cut	Cut after 2R to 45 pros + ams
