Challenge Tour backs ECCO Winter Series

5 Challenge Tour wildcards at stake at La Manga Club.

As a new initiative in 2012 the European Challenge Tour and the ECCO Tour has agreed that the Winter Series functions as a qualifier for the ECCO Tour Championship – Hosted by Thomas Bjørn and Mercedes, at Stensballegaard Golfklub August 15^th-18^th 2012.

No less than 5 wild cards are at stake during the Winter Series. The breakdown of the wild cards are as follows.

• The winner of ECCO Spanish Open
• The winner of Mediter Real Estate Master
• Top 3 on Winter Series “mini ranking” 2012
  • Players not otherwise exempt
